Title:
Susan Robinson Joins Brown Santa Board
Body:
Susan Robinson, a Liberty Hill resident, is the newest member of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Brown Santa Board of Directors.  Mrs. Robinson works at Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberty Hill and has lived in that city for the past two and a half years.   Robinson joins current board members Captain Fred Thomas, Tammy Smith, Peggy Braun, Connie Watson, Carlos Cardona and Chris Herndon.
“I became involved with the program last year while helping the Liberty Hill FFA students and parents pack boxes,” stated Mrs. Robinson.  “I believe we are called to serve the residents of our community, helping local children to experience the blessings of Christmas is a great way to help out!”
For the past twenty years, Williamson County Brown Santa has provided Christmas gifts to children in families living at or below the US poverty level and are outside the geographical city limits of any town or city within Williamson County that does not provide a similar program.  Donations are utilized to purchase toys, books and other items needed to make the children’s Christmas brighter.  It is a registered corporation in the State of Texas that is operated under the direction of the Brown Santa Board of Directors and was granted non-profit tax exemption under 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
